The sales of draught beer are at their low point in our production cycle with local hotels being on winter hours. Also since Chris knackered his knee a backlog of order has been building up.
So today - for the first time ever - 1,000 bottles of lager were filled in one session - it would have been better emptying them in one session but never mind. Mind there's an interesting thing. Somewhere about bottle number 750 we seem to have lost ours. The worse news is there's a similar number to do tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day.

Listen - silence - no scratching and there's the quill hanging over the desk.
Yes its true -- after four years near enough the managing director has decided its time to retire from his retirement job.
So the quill pen has fallen silent and only the distant gurgling of the fermenters breaks the brewery silence.
Its been quite a journey as they say on popular ITV shows but now Keith has reached his destination and is stepping down from the onerous responsibilities of running the daftest brewery in Britain (in logistical terms you understand).
Happily he retains his share of the company and so will continue to benefit from the generous owner discount scheme, currently as much as 50 p off a tee shirt.
For those remaining there is one problem --- do we get him a gold watch - or do we retain our annual profit within the company.

If youj put up a website with an email contact on it you get lots of junk. Like everyomne else we get offers to help fund revolutions, repatriate stoeln millions, invest in property overseas. Most of them are pretty poor, badly spelt (we're ones to talk) and patently garbage.
Then ever now and then someone who who doesn't beat about the bush, no deception - just a simple message straight to the point:
Dear Sir or Madam,
I'm emailing to express my gratitude for the excellent product. Can I get any freebies? Like a gift card, or a shirt, or something else cool? It's not like I'm going to stop drinking your beer if you don't send me anything – I just think it would be fun to get a surprise in the mail. Thanks well in advance, Vadims Biciks.

Needless to say the first of the orders that have had to be put on hold is one from Peckhams who, as ever, are very understanding. Sorry...we will get it right soon.
