The brewery will not be at the farmers market this week - the licencing board has no knowledge of our application. They are fine. The post office I'm not so sure about (apart from the one here which is 100%). Anyone want to buy some beer - special discounts available?

We forgot to order more mini kegs. Easter is approaching and these kegs went down a storm last year and so we needed them in a hurry. Phoned that agent guy in deepest darkest England - no problem he says just transfer cash to the German manufacturers and that'll be fine. That's easy, thought the boss, being members of the multinational Clydesdale Bank lot it will be a whizz.
Then we had a computer says no moment. Despite the fact the Clydesdale is a bank owned by the Aussies and is as high tech as it gets - it takes a week to send money to Germany electronically.
No problem says Keith the posite - £4.20 at the post office guarantees your cheque will be with the Germans by Friday. Good old Post Office.

No boat on Friday - No boat today - the island may be running low on supplies but at least we will not run out of beer. Lots of cunning beer reciupies being sought online to make the best of a bad situation. There may be a boat on Wednesday but Friday is looking bad again according to metcheck.
